Graeme Souness slates Leeds United defender Cody Drameh v Arsenal
Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has criticised Leeds United defender Cody Drameh for his role in Arsenal scoring their second at Elland Road today.
Marcelo Bielsa’s charges went into the Gunners game missing eight senior players, so they always had a tough job on their hands.
Drameh, one of the brightest young players at Elland Road, made his first Premier League start against Arsenal.

It was always going to be a baptism of fire for any youngsters starting in such a game against tough opposition.
And considering Drameh was up against an in-form Gabriel Martinelli, that’s an especially tough ask.
The Brazilian opened the scoring against Leeds on 16 minutes and added a second in the 28th minute.
For the second, Martinelli latched onto Granit Xhaka’s pass and kept his balance despite the presence of Drameh to dink his effort over Illan Meslier into the net.
Souness was critical of the Leeds defender for Arsenal’s second goal.
“For Martinelli’s second, Drameh is running forward into Raphinha’s space and he doesn’t sense the danger,” he said ().
“I don’t want to be unkind to him, but he must look over his shoulder and see Martinelli.”
Souness proceeded to criticise the whole Leeds outfit for how they did in the first half.
“Leeds weren’t in total possession of the ball,” he added.
“Leeds play like they’re in the school playground. Leeds are an absolute shambles.
“The way they’ve been asked to play ain’t going to win you games in the Premier League.”
Bukayo Saka made it 3-0 before the break to leave Leeds with a mountain to climb.
Although Raphinha pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the second half, Emile Smith Rowe got a fourth for Arsenal.
