Rangers have started their Europa League campaign with an impressive 2-0 win and Kemar Roofe has stolen the night for the Glasgow side.
With just minutes left and Steven Gerrard wanting Rangers to see out the match, Roofe did brilliantly to twist and turn away from the pressing Standard Liege defenders. After heading out wide Roofe decided to give it a go and smashed a strike from the inside of his own half which rocketed past the opposing keeper to secure the win and put Roofe’s name on Europe’s lips.
It was a stunning goal from Rangers’ summer signing and that was not lost on one Rangers man on Twitter.

Graeme Murty remains at Rangers, despite a tumultuous time in charge of the first-team, being promoted to Head of Elite Development in August.
So he was quick to notice the elite level of this tremendous goal for Rangers’ frontman.
What has Kemar Roofe just done? That was unreal!!!

Roofe’s goal helped to secure yet another win for Rangers, who continue to have an impressive season both in Europe and domestically.
The Belgian side proved tough opposition and Roofe’s impressive wonder goal was the cherry on the top of a hard-fought performance from Steven Gerrard’s side.
Ibrox fans will just be hoping for plenty more moments of magic from the 27-year-old attacker.
