Grady Diangana and West Ham players react as Josh Cullen posts on Instagram after exit

Josh Cullen posted a heartfelt message to West Ham United supporters on Instagram after the midfielder completed a last-minute move to Belgian giants Anderlecht on a permanent – prompting reaction from Grady Diangana and Hammers players.

Cullen, 24, has moved to Anderlecht from West Ham for a bargain figure of just £1million That is despite the Ireland international breaking into the senior side and making 10 Hammers outings.

The hard-working midfielder played for Charlton Athletic over the past two seasons under ex-Hammer Lee Bowyer, having a hand in 66 appearances in all competitions for the Addicks – helping them get promoted to the Championship in 2018-19.

However, Cullen is one of a number of players to have left West Ham – making the somewhat surprising move to join Anderlecht. It sees the Ireland ace team up with Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany, who is the club’s head coach.

Cullen also posted a short message to Anderlecht fans after completing a move, in which he is believed to have signed a three-year contract with Kompany’s outfit. He will look to break into the side and help them compete for the Belgian title.

Diangana was another sale this summer, joining West Brom on a permanent basis and he responded, as did Jack Wilshere on his new Anderlecht post. Many other Hammers players also commented.
