Gold says Eriksen’s camp is surprised by Tottenham’s stance on deal

Alasdair Gold has su🔯ggested in a video that some within Christian Eriksen’s camp are surprised by Tottenham’s stance 🐻not to follow up on their initial interest in the Dane.

Eriksen’s future remains up in the air. He has numerous clubs chasing his signature after a superb retur🌟n to action with Brentford. The 30-year-old will b🙈e available on a free transfer should he decide to snub the Bees’ latest offer.

Unsurprisingly, a return to ܫTottenham has been mooted. Eriksen enjoyed the best spell of his career in North London. And he is clearly still capable of those moments of magic.

In fact, it appeared that Spurs were amongst the front-runners for his signature. Reports claimed that he𒉰 👍wanted to stay in London amid interest from Manchester United.

Obviously, that would leave Brentford and Tottenham on the front row in the race. However, something strange appears to have happened in regards to💫 Spurs’𓂃 interest.

that Tottenham hav꧟e not heard from Eriksen’s camp for two weeks. But Gold has now suggested that the silence has actually come from Spurs’ side – much to the surprise of the playmaker’s representative🌺s.

“I’ve been doing a bit of digging on both sides of that deal today. And it seems like Spurs have gone cold on it, for whatever reason that is. At this current time, they haven’t followed up on initial interest shown. And certainly, those from a Spurs side are really distancing themselves with regard to any discussions going on. And from the other side of things, people I’ve spꩵoken to on that side, they’re saying that Spurs were in contact about two weeks ago over Eriksen, with his camp about a potential return, but just haven’t followed it up since,” .

“It’s a really s꧙trange one, because I get the impression from the Eriksen side of things, from people within his camp, there’s a little bit of🍎 surprise at the stance that Spurs have taken as well.”

The stage appeared to be perfectly set for Eriksen to return to Tottenham this summer. He will not command a transfer fee. An𓄧d clearly, he is far from done at the very highest level.

It is already incredibly special watching Eriksen pull strings on a football pitch in ‘spectacular‘ fashion once again. But to see him back doing that at Spurs – even a🤡s a neutral – would be amazing.

Tottenham may feel that they have something else lined up. But whatever they have planned is going to need to be something remarkable given what a fantastic op💙portunity sig🌠ning Eriksen seems to be.
