Gold names PL rival who like Tottenham star Joe Rodon ‘a lot’
Alasdair Gold that Brighton and Hove Albion like Joe Rodon a lot with the Tottenham Hotspur defender growing frustrated over his lack of game-time under Antonio Conte.
Rodon was one of the players who may have welcomed the change in the dug-out after struggling for minutes under Nuno Espirito Santo.

He had made one Premier League appearance under Nuno. So the appointment of Conte, and the permanent switch to a back three seemed to open the door for Rodon to get his opportunity.
However, the early stages have looked somewhat ominous. He was not in the match day squad for the games against Everton or Burnley. And he did not get on against Leeds.
With that, reports have recently claimed that Rodon is ready to leave Spurs on loan after growing frustrated over his situation.

Gold suggested that a loan move could be possible. And he offered one potential destination for the Welshman.
“I think Brighton like him a lot. Whether Brighton look to bring him in, I think four, five months at a team like Brighton, or any team – I’d say he needs Premier League now – would be big,” .
Tottenham in difficult position should Rodon attract loan interest
Should Spurs stay lucky with injuries during the second-half of the season, letting Rodon out on loan could be a very smart move.
is now 24. So he will be wary of watching his development stagnate. And with that, he will want to be playing regularly.
However, Tottenham staying injury-free does look unlikely. Cristian Romero is currently sidelined following the most recent international break.
And it is fair to say that some of those battling with Rodon are not in the best form either.
So it would potentially be a gamble for Tottenham to let him leave – even if that may prove to be what is best for the former Swansea City man.
