‘Going to want to go’: £21m man and Bryan Gil could both be set to leave Tottenham Hotspur in January – journalist
Football London journalist Alasdair Gold has reported that Japhet Tanganga and Bryan Gil could both leave Tottenham Hotspur in January.
Neither player appears to be in Antonio Conte’s plans at this time, which will be a source of serious frustration.
Especially as Conte was personally involved in making sure both players stayed at Tottenham this summer.

Bryan Gil’s loan move to Valencia was blocked on deadline day.
“We are talking about players that are really good prospects, but I was very clear with the club if someone go on loan, another player has to come in.”
reported that Conte wanted to keep Tanganga at Tottenham this season.
Tanganga was the subject of plenty of speculation,
Tanganga and Gil could leave Tottenham
Despite Conte’s effort to keep the pair at the club, neither player has been given a chance by the Italian manager.
Tanganga has played just 18 minutes for Tottenham this season, coming on against Marseille in the Champions League.
And despite being a regular feature on the bench, Gil has yet to play a minute of football this season.
The young Spaniard will be especially frustrated, as he’s now been demoted from Spain’s senior squad to the under-21s ahead of the World Cup.

Gold has now said that Tanganga and Gil could both leave Tottenham in January, but only if new signings come in.
“As for January, I think they have to [make additions].”
“Bryan Gil isn’t going to sit there for the whole season on the bench, just doodling on a piece of paper or whatever it is they get him to do on there!
“He’s going to want to go in January and get football, if he’s not playing, and the moment he goes ‘okay that’s fine, I want him replaced’.
“I wonder if Japhet will be similar. Tanganga will probably want football in January as well, so just by the nature of it, the January window has to have transfers in it.”
