‘Going to throw something out there’… Pundit thinks Celtic man is now regretting ever joining the club

With Celtic seemingly going through a tough spell at the moment, pundit, Ewan Cameron, believes all is not well behing the scenes at Parkhead.

After watching Brendan Rodgers‘ post match interview, Cameron noticed something strange about the Celtic manager and made a claim that Rodgers regrets coming back to Paradise.

Cameron said [], “Brendan Rodgers didn’t look like he cared either. He said he kind of expected it. Or it didn’t surprise him.

“I think there’s probably a battle going on behind the scenes politically. I’m also going to throw something out there.

“I think Brendan Rodgers today regrets coming back. He regrets coming back. Everything about it.
“He wasn’t fully accepted when he walked through the doors. The Celtic fans were waiting to jump down his throat.

“And that’s what’s happening right now. And then Brendan Rodgers is now deflecting and hinting that these are not my players. This is not who I want to be playing.

“There’s Lagerbielke, they spent £3 million for him in the summer, apparently he’s up for sale in January.
“So I think there’s there’s a wee bit of infighting behind the scenes.”

Rodgers’ demeanour was strange. Considering this was a manager who was, apparently, absolutely furious with his team’s first half perfomance against St Johnstone, the way the Celtic manager reacted after a meek home defeat against Hearts just doesn’t sit right.

Despite bieng very honest about how the team performed, the fans would have been expecting an agrier reaction from the Celtic manager.

The Celtic fans certainly made their feelings absolutely clear on Saturday and it seems now that Rodgers must ensure he picks up six points from his next two games.

With one of them being Rangers, the pressure is really on the Celtic manager to beat his closest rival because if he doesn’t the fans will need to look at the league table over the New Year with Rangers sitting on top.
