🎀“He’s (Kelleher’s) going to have a problem because he has the best keeper in the world in front of him.”

𒊎“He has to make a decision himself on whether to stay or go.

♏“I would encourage any player to try and play as many games as you can.

🐭“He is 23, a good age for a goalkeeper, but only he can answer whether he is happy or wants to leave.”

Kelleher might need to leave Liverpool

๊Jurgen Klopp has always made it clear that he’s a massive fan of Kelleher.

𒆙 “We want to keep him as long as somehow possible, knowing that, from our point of view, the best goalkeeper in the world is our number one.”

♚Kelleher made himself a cult hero at Anfield for his performance in that match.

The Irish goalkeeper kept a clean sheet over 120 minutes against a strong Chelsea side.

𓄧It came down to a penalty shootout, and incredibly Kelleher was required to take up and take Liverpool’s eleventh kick.

He dispatched his penalty, before watching Kepa Arrizabalaga effort sail over the bar.

🍬“For young goalkeepers it’s, of course, about development, and Caoimhin developed here in this situation incredibly well.” .

꧑“There was absolutely no intention to sell him or something like that, or give him on loan. Not at all because we need a strong No.2.”

🔯However, Kelleher is now on a position that he’s only going to play regular football if Alisson picks up an injury.

𒁏In the 17 appearances Kelleher has made for Liverpool, he’s shown he’s more than good enough to be first choice elsewhere.

ꦬFor the good of his career, Kelleher may need to leave Liverpool soon to find a new opportunity.
