‘Going to be a massive player for us’: Some Rangers fans think one player was ‘phenomenal’ today

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Kemar Roofe’s heroics for Steven Gerrard’s side at Ibrox today.

Rangers remained a goal down at half time and didn’t equalise until the 73rd minute, Roofe pouncing to finish off from James Tavernier’s superb ball to the back post.

Cedric Itten finally got the Ibrox side in front eight minutes from time, heading Tavernier’s corner home, and Roofe put the game to bad in stoppage time with a shot on the turn.

Rangers were certainly made to work hard for their win but they now sit 16 points clear of Celtic, having racked up a half-century of points after just 18 games.
