Glenn Hoddle says £60m Arsenal target really reminds him of Thierry Henry

Hoddle is a huge fan of Isak, claiming that he could play for any team in the world.

Hoddle says that he thinks Isak is more than just a number nine, claiming that the forward actually reminds him of Thierry Henry in a lot of ways.

Glenn Hoddle compares Alexander Isak to Thierry Henry

Hoddle spoke about Isak and how talented the man is.

The pundit says that Isak has the ability to play in any team, while he also made a very interesting comparison to Thierry Henry.

In fact, Hoddle even claimed that Isak is better than Henry in one key area – heading.

“This lad could play in any team, he could play in Liverpool’s team or Arsenal’s team, he could stay at Newcastle and get some rewards there. He has so many assets as a number nine, he’s more than a number nine to be honest. He’s Henry-like, he can drift wide, he can head the ball, he’s a better header of the ball than Thierry Henry,” Hoddle said.

Being compared to Thierry Henry is one of the highest honours that can be bestowed upon any striker.

Indeed, Thierry Henry is an all-time great, and to be compared to the Frenchman is a sign of just how good Isak is.

Isak is the best striker in the world according to some, and the stats showcase just how brilliant he is.

However, he does still have some way to go before he can be considered to be at the same level as Henry.

Of course, Henry is an Arsenal legend, and, who knows? Perhaps Isak will follow in the same footsteps and become a star in north London.

Arsenal need a new striker, and there really aren’t many better out there than Isak right now.
