Glenn Hoddle bursts out laughing after hearing what Ian Wright said about Tottenham last night
Ian Wright said something about Tottenham Hotspur last night that made Glenn Hoddle burst out laughing.
Wright was over the moon yesterday after his old club, Arsenal, picked up a tremendous 5-0 win over Chelsea.
The Gunners were completely the better side, and if they had taken their chances, the game would’ve finished 10-0 or worse.
After the game, Wright started looking ahead to the final few games of the season, and he made a claim about Tottenham that Hoddle couldn’t help but laugh at.

Glenn Hoddle bursts out laughing after hearing what Ian Wright said about Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur look like a completely different side under Ange Postecoglou, don’t they?
Spurs now play an excellent style of football, are brave on the ball and as they have shown this season, they are just a joy to watch for their fans.
As well as Tottenham have done this season, they are not in the Premier League title race. However. they could potentially decide who will end up as the champions at the end of this season.
The North Londoners will face all three clubs challenging for the title.
They host Arsenal this weekend, travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on the first Sunday of May and then face Manchester City at home next month.
Those three games could have a huge impact on the title race, and Glenn Hoddle made sure to remind Ian Wright that his side may need some help from their old enemy.
“You might need Tottenham to do you a favour,” Hoddle said on last night.
Wright replied: “If Tottenham could do us a favour, honestly…”
Then, with a little smirk on his face, the Arsenal legend said: “You know, I just want Tottenham to do the best they can because Tottenham deserve to be in the top four.”
Hoddle, who knew Wright didn’t mean the last part, burst out laughing.
Tottenham suffer huge blow before Arsenal clash
Many people expected Tottenham to be torn to shreds when the two sides met at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season, but they picked up a point.
Ange Postecoglou’s side would love nothing more than to do something similar again this weekend as it would all but end Arsenal‘s title hopes.
However, Tottenham were dealt a massive blow a few days ago.
It has been confirmed that Destiny Udogie is ruled out for the remainder of the season due to an injury.
The Italian played ever so well against Bukayo Saka in the reverse fixture at the Emirates, and without him, the Arsenal number seven will fancy his chances on Sunday.
It will be interesting to see who will start in Udogie’s place against Arsenal. Ben Davies is the obvious choice, but we have a feeling Posteecoglou could deploy Emerson Royal at left-back this weekend.
