TBR’s View:

Alexander-Arnold is already arguably the best in his position in the entire world and to achieve that at the age of 21 is a scary prospects.

There are suggestions that he could move into midfield later in his career, but for now he’s so lethal down the right channel from a full-back area and it would be odd to change that.

His crossing was unusually off during a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night in the Champions League last-16 tie first leg, but he’s enjoyed a superb individual campaign like so many of his teammates and there aren’t many full-backs in the league close to him right now.
