‘Get Renato or Bissouma now’: Arsenal fans react as Roma lodge £18m Granit Xhaka bid

Arsenal fans have been having their say on reports yesterday that suggested Granit Xhaka could bet set to sign for Roma for around £18m.

has suggested that Roma have now upped their bid to around the £18m mark, with £15m coming straight up and the rest in add-ons. It’s claimed that the bid, finally, could be enough to tempt Arsenal into selling Xhaka.

The Swiss star has been the talk of Rome throughout the summer. He impressed in the Euros, and when asked about a move to Italy, admitted he likes the country.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are in the midst of a bit of a summer rebuild. Mikel Arteta and Edu are wheeling and dealing their way through a difficult market.

So far, Nuno Tavares has signed. Albert Lokonga is expected to follow, while a goalkeeper remains a priority as well.

And with £18m potentially coming through for Xhaka from Roma, Arsenal fans have been suggesting the club take the money and re-invest before it’s too late.
