Ange Postecoglou now told to hand ‘brilliant’ player his Tottenham debut vs Manchester United
Tony Cascarino has told Ange Postecoglou to hand new boy Timo Werner his Tottenham Hotspur debut today.
Spurs are set to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday and will be looking to pick up their sixth win in seven games in all competitions.
Tottenham will be boosted by two new arrivals as Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin are set to be part of the squad.
Werner was officially announced as a Tottenham player on Tuesday, with Dragusin completing his switch from Genoa just two days later.

The former Chelsea striker will be aiming to enjoy a successful second spell in England after struggling in west London between 2020 and 2022.
The German forward managed 44 goal contributions in 89 appearances for the Blues but was often criticised for being wasteful in the final third.
And despite a quick turnaround after signing for Spurs on loan earlier this week, Cascarino thinks he should start at United today.
Cascarino tells Postecoglou to start Werner against United
Speaking on , Cascarino explained why he feels Werner should start at Old Trafford today.
“I think their style is incredibly brave and they’re much more likely to get a result today against United than years gone by,” the pundit said.
“So, do you know one thing that really interests me about this game? Whether he’ll start Timo Werner.
“Straight away, get him straight in. If you look at what Timo Werner does, he causes havoc, he’s got bundles of pace, he gets loads of chances, he just hasn’t been as clinical as what you’d expect of someone of that quality.
“It’s interesting that Ange feels that he can get more out of him. The only thing I see as more is, what he does outside the box and his covering every blade of grass on the pitch, is his finishing.
“And that is ultimately going to decide not whether he’s a good player but whether this is a really good deal for Spurs.”

Werner has only started two games this season after falling down the pecking order at Leipzig.
The former Blues striker has netted two goals in eight Bundesliga appearances.
It would be a risk to hand the ‘’ forward a start after only linking up with the Spurs squad earlier this week. Yet, Postecoglou may be forced to name the forward in his starting XI.
With Giovani Lo Celso ruled out, we could see Dejan Kulusevski move into that creative midfield role once again.
That would leave a space in front three available, which would likely be handed to Werner over the likes of Bryan Gil.
