Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s fluke assist rightfully does not change his Tottenham future

Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin N’Koud🦩ou emerged for a rare first team appearance on Sunday, supplying the winning assist as Spurs defeated Fulham 2-1.

Yet according to reports from , the attacker is still for sale despite his weekend contribution — clearly the correct decision🔜 for a largely ineffective player.

Although N’Koudou grabbed the headlines with his 93rd minꦐute delivery for Harry Winks’ goal, the truth of the matter is that the cross was ordinary at best.

Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico realistically 🦂should have come out of his goal and claimed the ball, which was far🔥 too close to the six-yard box to be considered an excellent cross.

All of the hype surrounding N’Koudou’s late assist is not justifie🎃d, as supporters should view the goal as a goalkeepe🐟r error more than a superb effort from the winger.

As a result, the former Marseille player’s substitute appearanceꦑ should not grant him an extended stay in the Spurs first team.

If not for an injury crisis, N’Koudou would be nowhere near the Tottenham squad, and his record of just one other appಞearance all season illustrates hisಌ position on the Spurs pecking order.

In all, Tottenham’s decision to maintain their stance that Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is for sale is an astute call, as one fluke of an assist should not overrul𒅌e the winger’s mediocrity in north London.
