Geoffrey Kondogbia sends Instagram message to Tottenham star Tanguy Ndombele

Tottenham Hotspur star Tanguy Ndombele impressed on Sunday evening once again during a 0-0 draw against Chelsea as his Spurs resurgence under Jose Mourinho continued – and Geoffrey Kondogbia has responded on Instagram.

Ndombele, 23, started his seventh Premier League match in a row – in front of Moussa Sissoko and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as Mourinho continues to keep faith with the midfield trio. A trio, in which, has helped Spurs climb to the top of the league.

The French midfielder was ostracised by Mourinho during the second half of last season, but has since re-emerged under the guidance of the Portuguese gaffer. He is now just six appearances shy of reaching a half century since his move from Lyon.

Ndombele posted on Instagram following Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea, in which he last 65 minutes before being replaced by Argentine playmaker Gio Lo Celso. Spurs returned to the top of the league with the point, after Liverpool failed to beat Brighton.

Ndombele started in the last Europa League match in which Spurs beat Ludogorets 4-0, and he could retain his place once again when Spurs take on Austrian side LASK come Thursday. A win will take them into the knockout rounds of the competition.

Kondogbia – who has been linked with Spurs on numerous occasions – recently joined Atletico Madrid in an emergency transfer to replace new Arsenal ace Thomas Partey. He sent a message to Ndombele on Instagram.

His comment is translated as: “I really like what you offer as work, Sir.”
