‘Genuinely keen’: Journalist claims Tottenham want £50m striker who’s been likened to Diego Costa
Tottenham Hotspur are “genuinely keen” on Everton striker Richarlison, according to journalist Ryan Taylor.
Spurs, fresh from their early-window triple swoop, are now looking to bolster their attacking ranks further.
Earlier this week, claimed Tottenham were expect to make a bid for Richarlison ‘in the coming days’.

The north Londoners hope to meet with the striker’s agents to discuss a deal for the 25-year-old, added the report.
However, Tottenham are vying against the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The Daily Mail recently claimed that Spurs – or any other suitors – could be looking to pay around £50million.
Taylor, writing on , claims interest from Tottenham is definitely there.
However, the Daily Express journalist has his concerns about a potential swoop for the former Watford man.
“Spurs seem keen on Richarlison,” wrote Taylor.
“From my personal perspective, I’m not sure he’s the right signing for them.
“I’m not quite sure where he fits in the team, and I’m not quite sure whether he elevates their team to the next level.
“But Tottenham are genuinely keen.”
Richarlison joined Everton from Watford in 2018, just a year after his arrival in England from Fluminense.
He has made 152 appearances for the Toffees in all competitions, scoring 53 goals.
Last term, Richarlison registered 10 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.
His efforts helped Everton survive in the top flight as they finished 16th, four points above the relegation zone.
Richarlison’s contract with Frank Lampard’s team expires in June 2024.
