‘Genuine doubt’… £30m player could actually be leaving Chelsea after just 18 games
Chelsea are a bit of a mess behind the scenes at the moment it has to be said.
Their last 18 months of transfer business has been nothing short of utterly bizarre, and there are now questions being raised about players who haven’t even been at the club for that long.
Indeed, there’s been plenty of chat about Noni Madueke potentially leaving Stamford Bridge in the near future just 12 months on from his arrival last January.
Speaking on the , Dean Jones has been discussing Madueke’s future, and he says that there is genuine doubt over the winger’s Chelsea future right now.

Genuine doubt over Madueke’s future
Jones shared what he knows about the man.
“Are Chelsea really going to sell Noni Madueke? We will have to wait and see there is certainly some genuine doubt around what is going to happen with him. It’s a strange one, of all the players they signed, he was one I was most excited about actually seeing,” Jones said.
Needs games
It’s not a surprise that Madueke’s future is up in the air. After all, he’s only played 18 league games in a year at Chelsea.
This was a young man who looked like a future superstar during his time in the Eredivisie, but his career at Stamford Bridge has stalled.
With a number of other players competing to play in the same position, Madueke’s path to the first-team is blocked, and, sadly, it’s hard to see how he’s going to make much of a mark at Chelsea.
We’ve seen so many talented players trapped in permanent purgatory at Stamford Bridge over the years with loan after loan consigning them to career stagnation, and Madueke can’t afford to waste any time here.
We’re not saying that Madueke should leave, but there are some serious conversations to be had here.
