Gary Neville suggests he’s changed his mind on Arsenal this season
Gary Neville has suggested on (broadcast on 14/3; 19:13) that he has now changed his mind and believes that Arsenal will finish fourth in the Premier League.
The Gunners are certainly in pole position to take that final Champions League spot. They are one point clear of Manchester United, and have three games in hand over the two sides below them.

They are currently on an unbelievable run of form. Only Liverpool have taken more points from their last six games. Their only Premier League defeat in the last three months came against Manchester City. And on that day, they gave the champions a good scare.
Arsenal do have a tough run of games ahead. They have to face the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham and Tottenham before the campaign concludes.

That could be a daunting run for the Gunners should they struggle to maintain this sort of form over the coming weeks. But Neville now believes that Arsenal will go on and seal that fourth spot in the Premier League.
“The reason I said about a week or so ago that you can’t fully trust Arsenal is because they’ve not delivered yet. The pressure now, I think is on them in the sense that now there is an expectation that they’ll finish fourth. I think they’ll finish fourth,” .
“But they’ve got Liverpool on Wednesday night, Aston Villa away on Saturday. They’ve got Tottenham still to come, Manchester United to play. Manchester United have got difficult games as well.
“But now they’ve got to go on and prove that we can trust them and they can go and deliver Champions League football which was against all expectations at the start of the season.”
Top-four finish could be game-changing for Arsenal as Neville backs Gunners
Arsenal have benefitted massively from their change of approach over the last 12 months. Last summer, they signed a raft of players several years from their peak.
That group’s biggest strength is arguably their unity and belief. They are certainly buying into what Mikel Arteta wants to do. And many of them have already taken their game to another level.
The likes of Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard and Ben White have proved to be absolutely inspired signings.
And if they can keep their momentum going for a few more games, it is hard to see Arsenal being denied that top-four spot when the campaign concludes.
