When discussing the Premier League title race this season, many pundits and fans seem to omit Liverpool, only mentioning Manchester City and Arsenal.

However, after six games have been played, Arne Slot’s new Liverpool side sit top of the league, one point ahead of City and Arsenal.

Admittedly, Liverpool h𒅌aven’t had the hardest of starts – they’re yet to face any side you’d expect to finish in the top six in the Premier League.

But Slot could argue that his side can only beat what it is in front of themﷺ, even if Nottingham Forest stole all tꦿhree points on their visit to Anfield.

That being said, after Mikel Arteta’s side rallied to overcome Leicester City on thꦯe weekend, there was a feeli🌃ng at the Emirates Stadium that this could be the club’s year.

Martin Zubimendi could still play a big role in the title-race

Jamie Carragher recently assessed Arsenal’s 🦹chances of winning the league, concluding that💎 the title-race was still very muꦓch in the balance.

In terms of fixtu꧟res, Man City do now embark on a run of games you’d expect Pep Guardiola’s side to win comfortably, with or without Rodri.

There’s no doubt that the Spaniard is a huge loss for City, but pla🧜yers like Mateo Kovacic certainly have the quality and experience to get Pep’s side through until January at least.

Interestingly, some now believe that City might make a play for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, a n💜umber six who held taౠlks with Arsenal and Liverpool this summer.

That being said, Zubimendi has now chosen his new club, and it doesn’t involve a move to England.
