Gary Neville shares the change he’s noticed in Mauricio Pochettino since leaving Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino is back in management as the new head coach of the USA.

Pochettino has taken the step into international management after leaving Chelsea, and 🌊while the USA job is a high-profile role, it’s not exactly one of the most desirable jobs in💯 the world.

Indeed, the US have never been World Cup contenders, and Pochettino won’t be working with a world-class group of players here🅺.

Once upon a time, Pochettino was the hottest property in management when he was taking Tottenham to a Champions League final, but since then, it’s fair to say his stock has 🎃fallen a little bit.

Speaking on The Overlap, Gary Neville h𝐆as been discussing Pochettino’s recent roles, and he says that he thinks the gaffer has lost a bit of love for the game recently after experiencing two chaotic environments at both PSG and Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino has lost his love for football slightly

Neville spoke about Pochettino and the chang🦋e he’s noticed lately.

“You get the feeling that he is such a genuine good person in the way he managed Tottenham and he played great footb꧂all. Has he fallen out of love a little bit 𒀰with what he’s experienced in the last two or three years? It wouldn’t surprise me if he had because you’ve seen the way he’s been treated and what happened at Chelsea,” Neville said.

Mauricio Pochettino has had a tough time

Mauricio Pochettino w꧟ould be excused for fallingꦰ out with football a bit.

The Argenti💃ne was once one of the most promising young coachꦗes in Europe, but he’s been chewed up an spat out by two massive clubs that seem to constantly lack direction.

Football is a very fickle🅠 game, especially in the managerial sphere, and 🙈sadly, Pochettino has had to learn that the hard way.

Let’s hope🙈 Pochettino can rediscover his love for the game during this jaunt with the🍸 USA.
