Gary Neville says Newcastle fans did something he’s never seen before at Wembley after Dan Burn scored against Liverpool
Newcastle secured their first domestic trophy since 1955 with victory over Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.
A thumping header by Dan Burnꦑ opened the scoring in the 45th minute, before Alexander Isak superbly slotted a second beyond the desperate grasp of Caoimhin Kelleher in the 52nd minute.
πͺA 94th minute goal by Federico Chiesa did β however β have Newcastle fans biting their nails in the final stages.
After the opener flew in β a first goal for the Magpies at Wembley since 2000 β Gary Neville made a comment about the euphoric Newcastle supporters.
