Gary Neville says 23-year-old West Ham man is too ‘unpredictable’ and needs to show more maturity
After West Ham United’s much needed win last night, Gary Neville has now been discussing one of the club’s star performers.
David Moyes went into last night’s tie with Brentford k𝔍nowing that West Ham needed 💯to register their first win of 2024.

Speculation regarding Moyes’ future has been rife, with sources claiming any talk of a new contract could halt.
Despite 🔴the success he’s achieved in the last couple of seasons, it seems Moyes has a lot to prove before the season ends, and Monday’s win was a good start.
Jarrod Bowen was t🎉he ⛎star of the show, scoring a timely hat-trick to dissipate the pressure on what could have proved a nervy night.
And as well as Emerson Palmieri, Mohammed Kudus also looked exciting, playing on the right.
However, when speaking on his after the game, Gary Neville wasn’t pa🥂rticularly impressed with Kudus’ peꦚrformance for West Ham last night.
Neville recognised the positive impact the 23-year-old had, but thought there🤪 was still a lot to improve upon.
Gary Neville thought Mohammed Kudus was far too unpredictable for West Ham last night
Neville obviously recognised a player with an incr𒁏edible skill-set in Kudus, but thought his game needed a lot of refinement,
The pundit thought Kudus needed to♔ find🌸 a balance with his creativity, so he could be in better sync with his teammates.

Neville ﷺsaid: “Kudus has got something, he just needs to be a little bit more, what’s the word, yeah his final choice, he just needs that maturity in his game.
“Sometimes wingers have it whereby they’re unpredictable, but unpredictable to everybody, unpredictable not just to the opposition but to their own𝐆 players that don’t know when they are going to make a run.
“In the first half he had three or four wild shots that were from positions wher🐈e he could have played the final pass.
“And I did say in that first half,🔯 the one thing that David Moyes could say at half-time was for him to be a little bit more precise in what he was doing.
“And that third goal I think came from him really being direct and putting that lovely little cross in for Jarrod Bowen, whi𓃲ch was a big moment in this game.”
Big potential
Of course, you’d have to think that Neville wouldn’t bother commenting on Kudus’ performance last night if he didn’t think he can go on to star at West Ham.
Kudus is already close to being the finished article, a player who can perhaps be as important as Bowen, but he may need to make these subtle changes, especially if he’s going to reach a rather bold target set by hi💃s former coach.
