Gary Neville slams Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero vs Newcastle United
Well, Tottenham Hotspur hammered Newcastle United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Spurs were always in control and found it quite easy to pick up all three points from the match.
However, Tottenham could have ended the game with 10 men. There was an occasion late in the game when Cristian Romero could have been sent off.
As reported by , Romero planted his studs on Callum Wilson’s ankle as the Newcastle striker was getting off the ground. He was shown a yellow card.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville was on co-commentary duty for .
And, in the , he criticised the 25-year-old for his actions.
Neville said about Romero: “He is mad, him. Honestly. Absolutely mad.”
The pundit added: “He is crazy, Romero.”
Cristian Romero needs to change his ways
In my view, Tottenham Hotspur and Argentina international defender Cristiano Romero needs to change his ways. He simply has to.
Romero is a very good defender. We all know that. Lionel Messi rates him highly.
But, the issue with Romero is that he does get sent off for silly challenges and tackles. He is too rash at times and makes bad decisions.
Romero has only just come back from suspension. I believe that Tottenham are a better team with the 25-year-old in it. And he himself needs to understand that.
The Argentina international has to grow and mature as a footballer. He needs to be smart about how he does things at times. Tottenham need him in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
