Gary Neville makes Luis Diaz claim after Liverpool Carabao Cup final display
Gary Neville told that Luis Diaz looks some player, as he lauded the way the Liverpool signing has adapted to English football.
Diaz was, of course, the most exciting signing across the Premier League during the January transfer window. He arrived off the back of a stunning first-half of the season with Porto.

It did appear that he may be Tottenham-bound should he move to England. Reports claimed that Spurs had made a £46 million bid for the forward as they looked to make a real statement following Antonio Conte’s appointment.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, all that appeared to do was inspire Liverpool to act. The Reds managed to get a deal done. And it already appears that they have produced a masterstroke in the market.

He has already opened his account in the Premier League. And he looks to be a player Jurgen Klopp can build his attack around in the years to come, along with Diogo Jota.
Diaz was, once again, outstanding as Liverpool contested the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley. And after one late burst through on goal, Neville suggested that Diaz has massively impressed him since coming to the country.
“I tell you what, he is some player, him,” .
“And we only see half of it on television. Some of the movement off the ball, that little bit of skill that we saw where he just clips it round Reece James, what a fantastic introduction this is into English football.”
Luis Diaz deal could be yet another game-changer for Liverpool
One of the crucial challenges Klopp faced at Anfield was rebuilding one of world football’s greatest forward lines. Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have been world-class for a number of years.
There is plenty of life left in the trio, of course. But with the signings of Jota and now Diaz, Liverpool are starting to put together yet another unbelievable trio.
Jota has really stepped up this year. But Diaz is the player who will get Liverpool fans off their feet whenever he gets onto the ball.
He creates excitement every time he gains possession. And he was utterly superb in what will surely be the first of many, many cup finals for Liverpool for the Colombian.
