Gary Lineker reacts to Liverpool’s Caoimhin Kelleher spelling mistake on Twitter
Liverpool put in a near-flawless display to sweep aside Wolves in the Premier League this weekend. One of the major positives was yet another impressive display from young goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
The Irish youngster again stepped up in the absence of Brazilian number one Alisson and put in an impressive display as Jurgen Klopp’s faith in the 22-year-old was rewarded yet again.
But it did not take an eagle-eyed viewer to spot the massive error Liverpool did make with the goalkeeper.

It appears his second name got the better of the club’s kit-man. Kelleher played with his second name misspelled as ‘Kellher’.
Former England striker and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker was one of those who spotted the error, pointing out on Twitter that Liverpool should make sure they get it right next time.
Lots of positives again for , including an excellent display from their young keeper. Perhaps as a reward they could spell Kelleher correctly. 🤣

He was not alone, with plenty of Liverpool fans on Twitter noticing the error and, on the whole, responding in jest.
Clearly, this was just an honest mistake and the young stopper did not let it impact his performance at all.
If he keeps on putting in performances like this then there is very little chance of his name being misspelled again anytime soon.
