Gabriel Agbonlahor thinks £55k-per-week Liverpool player has become ‘one of the best’ under Arne Slot

Liverpool got back to winning ways on the weekend following their shock defeat against Nottingham Forest just over a week ago.

And Arne Slot‘s side were able to return to winning ways in style with a 3-0 ♔victory over Bournemouth on Saturday at Anfield.

With results elsewhere going in Liverpool‘s favour, the Reds are now sitting just one point off the top of the♚ league.

And there have🥀 been some seriously impressive performances from some of the Liverpool ꦅplayers despite the change of management over the summer.

Mohamed Salah has made a typically strong start tꦬo the new campaign with three goals and four assists in his opening five games.

However, there is one player who is potentially outshining Salah inside these 🌄ope♕ning games of the season.

Gabriel Agbonlahor wowed by £55k-per-week Liverpool player

The defeat to Nottingham Fores🍸t was a 𒁏real outlier in what has otherwise been a seriously impressive start to life under Slot.

Liverpool have only conceded one goal in their opening five games and have been abl♑e to net 10 at the other end.

Half of those 10 goals have come through just one player with Luis Diaz coming into his own under the Dutch manager.

Speaking on , Gabriel Agbonlahor ha🧜s now claimed the Colombian has become one of the best wingers in the Pr🍸emier League this season.

“He scored two on the weekend. That’s 🍌five Premier League goals so far this season. H🌳e has become more clinical with his finishing. He’s a menace to defenders,” he said.

“He doesn’t stop. You think you have got a second to rest, he’s making a run behind you. That’s what he has got better at – those runs in be💛hind. But also he took his two goals very well. All five goals this season, he has taken very well. Jota was dropped on the weekend. Diaz is undroppable.

“For me, he is one of the best wingers in the league and he ꦺis turning up week in week out and putting in top performances for Liverpool.”

Luis Diaz is finally hitting his best form at Liverpool

Under Jurgen꧃ Klopp last season, Diaz was able to provide a return of eight goals in the Premier Leag༺ue across his 37 appearances.

The 27-year-old has gone a long way to matching that figure already inside thꦕe opening five games of the campaign.

Although Agbo🌟nlahor has claimed the winger is undroppable at Liverpool, it will be important for Slot to mana🌟ge Diaz’s workload.

A long season is ahead of the Reds with the new formatted Champi🎶ons League and domestic ౠcup duties so managing their player’s fitness will be crucial.

But the Reds ꦗwill be delighted with the way in which Diaz has started the new campaign as he is even outscoring Salah.
