Gabriel Agbonlahor now predicts who’ll win the Premier League this season

Gabriel Agbonlahor has shared his Premier League champions as Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool battle it out for this year’s crown.

Arsenal moved above Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table thanks to a 3-0 win at Brighton on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s men now sit above Jurgen Klopp’s side on goal difference following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Old Trafford yesterday.

The Gunners issued the perfect response after watching Manchester City pick up a 4-2 win at Crystal Palace in the early kick-off.

With seven games left to play, Arsenal have their fate in their own hands and Ian Wright has already backed his former side to get over the line.

Elsewhere, Glenn Hoddle has admitted he fancies Liverpool to get the job done due to their remaining fixtures.

Now, Gabriel Agbonlahor has delivered his verdict on the title race and warned Arsenal supporters not to get ‘too carried away’ following the weekend’s results.

Agbonlahor on who’ll win the Premier League

Speaking on , Agbonlahor explained why he believes Arsenal will fall short once again this season.

”Don’t get too carried away though, Arsenal fans,” the former Aston Villa striker said. “I know they are happy with where they are, top now on goal difference but a lot can happen.”

He added: “But Arsenal have got Villa at home on the weekend, Wolves away… I predict Aston Villa on the weekend will be a draw, Villa will be at it. Wolves away, that’s not guaranteed, they could draw that one.

“They’ll beat Chelsea at home, Chelsea are poor. Spurs away… I think they could drop points in that as well. Bournemouth at home. Manchester United away. United will turn up. Second last game of the season. Ten Hag will want his players at it. That could easily be a draw. Everton at home, win.”

Alan Brazil then asked: “So, Arsenal are going to be third?”

”I don’t think they win it, mate,” Agbonlahor went on. “I don’t think they win it. I think Manchester City do. I look at City’s fixtures and I just can’t see them dropping points.”

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City’s fixtures compared

With just a point separating all three sides following the weekend’s action, this could be one of the most exciting title races in the competition’s history.

It’s fair to say that Arsenal have the most difficult run, with tough tests against Wolves, Tottenham and Manchester United away from home to come.

Both Liverpool and City’s fixtures look fairly favourable on paper but Pep Guardiola’s men will also face a trip to Spurs.
