Gabriel Agbonlahor names the only Arsenal player he thinks Real Madrid would want to buy
Gabriel Agbonlahor has now admitted that he only thinks that Spanish giants Real Madrid would want to buy one Arsenal player.
Mikel Arteta has built an incredibly strong squad over the years, and Edu Gaspar deserves credit in that regard too.

The Arsenal duo have completely turned the club’s fortunes around both on and off the pitch, providing the platform for the title-push fans are now enjoying.
Last summer felt very significant in demonstrating how far Arsenal had come, particularly with deals for Kai Havertz and Declan Rice.
Over the years Arsenal have been much more accustomed to their talents being poached by their rivals, rather than cherry-picking a Chelsea player for themselves.
And in terms of the deal for Declan Rice, it’s incredible to think that Arsenal can now rival Manchester City and Pep Guardiola’s pull.
But despite how star-studded this squad now appears, Gabriel Agbonlahor only thought one Arsenal player currently fell into the world-class category.
Gabriel Agbonlahor says William Saliba is the only Arsenal player Real Madrid would want
Speaking on this morning, Gabriel Agbonlahor went on to say that Real Madrid would probably only want to buy one Arsenal player, William Saliba.
Declan Rice didn’t even get a mention, and the pundit didn’t quite think Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were at that level yet.

He said: “I was having this debate with a taxi driver yesterday, Arsenal fan, he was saying ‘Which Arsenal player do you think is, or will become world class?’
“And the only one I could name was Saliba. I said Odegaard and Saka – very, very good players but I wouldn’t say they are two players who would be on Real Madrid’s radar, but Saliba I would.”
Of course, Arsenal fans would be justified in not agreeing with those claims, especially in the cases of Saka and Rice.
Perhaps Madrid wouldn’t want to re-sign Odegaard given they sold him to Arsenal, but Rice and Saka would surely start for any team in the world.
And funnily enough, Saliba’s reputation on the continent doesn’t seem to be as strong as it is in England either, given he isn’t quite a firm starter for France just yet.
But regardless of Agbonlahor’s words, Arsenal boss Arteta will surely be quite content with his squad, and similarly pleased if Madrid aren’t interested in signing the majority of his stars.
All that being said, Danny Murphy is now convinced that one Arsenal player is about to start scoring much more often.
