Gabriel Agbonlahor is not happy after hearing news coming out of Tottenham
Gabriel Agbonlahor has criticised Tottenham Hotspur after the club announced a season ticket price increase yesterday.
Spurs yesterday that season ticket prices for the 2024-25 campaign will rise by six per cent.
Tottenham have put the rise down to ‘a significant increase in matchday costs’ and it’s fair to say the news hasn’t gone down well with supporters.
The club’s supporters’ trust has since released a and are ‘dismayed’ by the decision.
Now, Gabriel Agbonlahor has criticised the Tottenham board and told them to start delivering silverware before raising ticket prices.

Speaking on , Agbonlahor reacted to yesterday’s announcement.
“What I don’t like is money is tough for people out there, I’ve got friends in London who can’t even get on the property ladder, it’s ridiculous prices in London,” the former Aston Villa striker said.
“You go there and do your food shop, ridiculous prices. The bills are going up. People use their spare money, die-hard fans, to go and watch games and you’re putting the prices up. This might price certain people out of their budget.
“Like you say, such a rich club not winning any trophies as well, yes the football is better, it’s exciting football. But hang on, maybe start winning some trophies Spurs before you start throwing up a six per cent rise.”

According to , the price rise will lead to the cheapest adult season ticket being priced at £856 and the most expensive will cost £2,367.
The most expensive junior season ticket will come in at £606 while the cheapest junior season ticket is £428.
You can’t help but feel this is unnecessary from Tottenham and fans are understandably furious.
With a cost of living crisis currently affecting match-going fans, you’d imagine that the club are better equipped to deal with rising costs than the average fan.
Just as Daniel Levy and the Tottenham board seemed to be getting the fans back on board once again, this announcement will undoubtedly damage the bridges that have been built since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival.
