Gabby Agbonlahor says ‘aggressive’ Tottenham star is the best player in the Premier League in his position

Gabby Agbonlahor has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie.

The former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit believes that Udogie is the best left-back in the Premier League.

So, what has Gabby Agbonlahor said about Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie? Let’s take a look.

Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie is ‘the best’

Well, Gabby Agbonlahor has been raving about Tottenham Hotspur left-back Destiny Udogie.

The former Aston Villa striker and talkSPORT pundit has outlined the attributes of the youngster and believes that he is the best left-back in the Premier League at the moment.

The pundit made the comments while looking back on Tottenham’s win against Nottingham City last Friday. Udogie started the match for the North London club.

Agbonlahor said about Udogie on : “He is probably the best left-back in the league. He is good on the ball. He is strong. He is aggressive. He has got everything as a left-back. Unbelievable.”

More to come from Destiny Udogie

In my view, Destiny Udogie could develop into one of the best left-backs in the world in the coming years. He is a Tottenham Hotspur gem.

Tottenham signed Udogie from Udinese in the summer of 2022 and let him stay on loan at the Italian club last season.

The Italian left-back continued to flourish in Italy. The 21-year-old made 31 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A last season. He scored three goals and gave four assists in those games.

In 2021-22, Udogie made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A. He scored five goals and gave four assists in those games.

Udogie is a regular for Tottenham now. The youngster has scored one goal and provided two assists in 15 Premier League matches this season.

This is the third season in a row where Udogie is playing regular first-team football and is turning out week in and week out. He is only 21.

I believe that if Udogie continues to play consistently and continues to grow, then it is only a matter of time before he becomes world class.
