Gabby Agbonlahor predicts the result of Tottenham vs Sporting Lisbon
It’s Tottenham Hotspur vs Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League tonight and Gabby Agbonlahor has revealed his prediction for the game.
Antonio Conte’s side are desperate for a win. They’ve lost each of their last two games in the Premier League, and if they suffer three defeats on the bounce, there will be a lot of questions to answer.

Spurs take on Sporting Lisbon in a game that they’ll be looking to win. However, the Portuguese giants are no easy side to face.
Tottenham learned that the hard way on Matchday 2, losing 2-0 after conceding twice in the last few minutes of the game. Spurs simply cannot afford that again today, and Agbonlahor is convinced it won’t.
The pundit feels Sporting are nowhere near as good as Tottenham’s last two opponents – Manchester United and Newcastle. He thinks Conte’s side will pick up a comfortable win tonight.
He said on : “I’m hoping Harry Kane and Son get more space because they struggled last two games.
“Sporting Lisbon are not as good as the last two teams Spurs have played in the Premier League. So, I think they’ll have a statement win today.
“I’ll go 3-0 to Spurs.”

That really is a bold prediction, isn’t it?
It’s not that Spurs are not capable of blowing Sporting out of the water – they definitely can. However, the Portuguese giants are an excellent side as well and have already shown they can beat Tottenham.
Spurs, however, will still fancy themselves to get a good result. If Kane and Son can combine well, they will have plenty of chances to score – just like they did against Frankfurt last time out.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out, but if Spurs suffer another defeat today, their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League will be severely dented.
Tottenham fans will be hoping Agbonlahor is right!
