Gabby Agbonlahor delivers four-word reaction to Aston Villa star Ezri Konsa’s England Euro 2020 omission

Gareth Southgate has included three Aston Villa players in his preliminary 33-man Euro 2020 side in the form of Jack Grealish, Ollie Watkins and Tyrone Mings – but has decided to leave Ezri Konsa on the sidelines, and Gabby Agbonlahor has delivered a four-word Instagram verdict.

Southgate has decided to announce a squad that will be cut by seven players in the coming days – given that England have three of four clubs in the Europa League and Champions League finals. But Watkins, Grealish and Mings have all got themselves in with a shout of making the final squad.

Villa confirmed the inclusion of Grealish, Watkins and Mings on their Instagram post – with Southgate’s men taking on Romania and Austria before the Euro 2020 group opener against Croatia on June 13.

Watkins has been excellent in his first Premier League season, scoring 14 times for Dean Smith’s side – offering work rate and a quality in front of goal up top. Grealish’s qualities go without saying, while Mings has emerged onto the England scene of late and looked solid in a Three Lions shirt.

But Konsa has been left out, and Agbonlahor has responded on Instagram – posting a four-word message on a Villa post, joking Konsa must play “badminton”.
