Gabby Agbonlahor can’t believe what the Celtic fans did at Easter Road last night
Celtic’s last-minute win over Hibs last night sparked scenes of absolute joy in the away end at Easter Road.
Adam Idah is the man of the moment after the on-loan Norwich striker confidently tucked away two penalties which included a nerve-shredding last-minute spot-kick that sent the Celtic fans into an instantaneous scene of joy.
To be fair, the majority of the scenes were probably relief but it didn’t stop former Aston Villa striker, Gabby Agbonlahor, from being in awe of the Celtic support.
Agbonlahor said [], “That penalty. I was flicking through social media after the Villa game and saw the penalty and once he scored it and how loud it was.
“Those Celtic fans, it was some atmosphere when he scored that. Those Celtic fans make some noise.
“I felt the adrenaline from Idah scoring that goal in front of the away end.”
The Celtic fans are known the world over for the colour, atmosphere and sheer passion they bring to football whenever they follow their team.
One of the best atmospheres I have seen is when Ange Postecoglou’s side defeated Rangers 3-0 in February 2022 to go top of the league.
I was there when Celtic drew 2-2 with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League at Celtic Park and let me tell you, that was something special as well.

With the league title looking like it will go down to the wire, there will undoubtedly be more scenes like this as the tension builds towards the end of the season.
With 13 games left to go, every game now is a must-win for Brendan Rodgers. The Celtic manager knows how close he was to a slipup last night.
He can ill-afford any more dropped points or Rodgers can forget about the title staying at Parkhead at the end of the season.
