‘Further procedure’…Ange Postecoglou says 23-year-old Tottenham player has had to have more treatment on his injury

Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon is facing a further spell on the side lines after Ange Postecoglou admitted there’s been a setback.

Solomon has missed a major part of the season already but there was some hope he’d be back to help with the run-in.

However, after addressing the press today ahead of this weekend’s game with Brighton, Ange Postecoglou has delivered some bad news when it comes to Solomon.

Manor Solomon set to miss more Tottenham game-time

Speaking about the midfielder, Postecoglou has admitted that Solomon has had to have some extra treatment on his injury.

“Manor has had to have some further procedure on his knee so is still a little bit away [from returning] still,” Postecoglou .

Adding further context to the injury for Solomon, Postecoglou has confirmed that the injury is set to set back the winger by around three weeks.

Wretched injury problems continue

Tottenham have had some rotten luck with injuries this season and this news on Manor Solomon is just another spanner in the works.

Solomon would have been hoping to get back and make his mark but with the added time now on the injury, he’s probably going to be looking at after the international break before he gets going.

In a way, that might work in favour of Tottenham who will feel like they have a new signing for the last 10 games or so.

Solomon will be hoping to make a big impression. After being signed for nothing in the summer he had started well. Now, he’ll be hoping to finish well ahead of a big end to the season and make an impression ahead of the next campaign.
