Report: Club may now make shock move to sign £62m star, just a week after claims Tottenham could bid

Fulham are looking into the prospect of making a surprise move to bring Tottenham-linked midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, the Premier League this s👍ummer.

The Serbian midfielder is one of the stars of Serie A as things stand and has long been linked with a move to England over various transfer windows. He has remained in Rome though with Lazio, although Tottenham are said to be keen on bringing him in this♉ summer if they can🐻.

However, according to a report from , Tottenham face competition from newly-promoted Fulham, who are eyeing what would be a shock move for the Serbian star. It’s claimed that his international teammate and Cottagers goalscoring sensation, Aleksandar Mitrovic, is p💟ushing Milinkovic-Savic to consider Fulham.

Lazio are thought to valu💃e Milinkovic-Savic at around the £62m mark. That fee, of course, would be a huge outlay for any club, especially a club just coming up into the league like Fulham.

While Mitrovic might be in the ear of his 🦩friend and teammate, surely there is no chance Milinkovic-Savic passes up the chance of signing for European challenging clu🎶bs to fight a relegation battle.

This really would be one of the surprise transfers of the last few years. The Lazio midfielder is good𓆉 enough to play for most clubs in Europe, so the notion of him rocking up at Craven Cottage is an odd one.

Fulham will spend money and pay big wages. But if they manage to pull this 🧔one off, even the most ambitiou𓄧s of Cottagers fans will be surprised.
