Report: New club now wants to sign ‘incredible’ Tottenham and Newcastle target this summer
Promotion-chasing side Fulham could make a move for Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, with the Cottagers inching ever closer to sealing a return to the top flight.
According to a report from , which cites , Fulham are looking for a new goalkeeper if and when they are promoted and have identified Nick Pope as their number one target. However, it’s claimed that Henderson is also under consideration, after previously being thought of in terms of a loan move.

Henderson has endured a disappointing season with Manchester United and is behind David De Gea in the pecking order yet again. This, despite staying on and signing fresh terms on the premise he might get more first-team chances.
The former Sheffield United loanee is a wanted man already. Reports have claimed both Newcastle and Tottenham want to sign Henderson, who is said to be open to moving on permanently this summer.
Previously as ‘incredible’ by Jose Mourinho, Henderson has proven himself at Premier League level before and even got into the England squad. But with others now ahead of him, he’ll need to be a number one somewhere if he’s to force his way back into the Three Lions’ plans.
TBR’s View: Henderson Ideal For Any Of The Clubs Mentioned
You don’t become a bad goalkeeper just because you can’t usurp someone at Manchester United. Dean Henderson is more than capable at this level and he’d be fine at any of Tottenham, Newcastle, or even Fulham.
He shone while with Sheffield United and it’s easy to see why Fulham like him. Further, Burnley are likely to want big money for Pope, who is also an established number one and older than Henderson.
Therefore, there is potentially more upside in signing Henderson. Potential, a hunger to prove people wrong, and experience at this level already, there is a lot to like about the Old Trafford man.
