Fulham ‘fighting’ to keep hold of young ‘crown jewel’ as Manchester City and PSG circle
TBR Football understands that there is an increasingly long list of clubs keen on signing the “crown jewel” at Craven Cottage.
Last week, Fulham announced their list of 2025 scholars who have signed on to commit their short term futures to the club.
There were a number of talented footballers in this class of 2025, however the one that Fulham supporters would have been desperate to see sign was absent from the ceremony.
This has sparked a massive transfer race for the 16-year-old talent, Seth Ridgeon, who is currently weighing up his substantial options ahead of either committing to Fulham or moving elsewhere.
Now, TBR Football understand that the situation is heating up.

Fulham desperate to keep Seth Ridgeon this summer amid substantial interest
Youth recruitment is as hot a topic as senior transfers these days, and this summer there will be no name with hotter interest than Seth Ridgeon of Fulham.
TBR Football understands that Fulham are fighting to keep hold of Ridgeon – the England Under-17 captain.
The attacking midfielder is the considered the ‘crown jewel’ of Fulham’s academy and is rated as one of the best talents for his age in the country right now.
We can now reveal that he is indeed on the radar of almost every major club in England – Manchester United have been linked, but we can confirm that Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all keen.
TBR Football also can exclusively reveal that Ridgeon is attracting interest from the continent including European champions Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
Who is Seth Ridgeon?
With many of Europe’s big names and also the Premier League’s elite chasing Ridgeon this summer, he must be worth the hype.
At 16 years old, already Ridgeon has made his U21 debut for Fulham and as previously touched on has captained the England U17s side which saw him line up in midfield alongside Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman.
Ridgeon is of Sri Lankan heritage, on his mother’s side, and so if he goes on to play in the Premier League, he would be making history.
Ridgeon is among considered the countries’ biggest talents, with Manchester United giving him a tour of Carrington recently where he met Jason Wilcox and Ruben Amorim.
It is open as to where he ends up and we look forward to finding out his future.
