Fulham fans want Ranieri to go now after away defeat against Southampton
Fulham look set for an instant return to the Championship after slipping ten points adrift of Premier League survival with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Southampton.
A victory at St Mary’s would have given the Whites half a chance of clambering to safety but yet another away loss – without scoring a goal – has only served to worsen the mood around the club.
Fulham supporters turned their attention to Claudio Ranieri in the aftermath of the defeat and the consensus is that they want him out of their club.
Most fans are realistic enough to know that their club needs to start planning for life in the second tier next season and they don’t want Ranieri to be part of that process.

There have been managers who have overseen relegation seasons before but Ranieri has got it spectacularly wrong during his time at Craven Cottage.
He has torn up the club’s identity and marginalised players who were crucial in their promotion season, while failing to engineer an upturn in results or defensive improvement.
That failure is reflected in the angst the supporters feel towards Ranieri after the latest defeat…

And we are down. It was a mountain before this game but now it is over, 10 points from safety is impossible. it is time to let the fans know that you are listening and sack Ranieri, start building for next year now.
