Fulham are now keen on signing Manchester United player Tom Cairney called ‘ridiculous’
Fulham desperately need bodies through the door this summer.
After losing Willian, Joao Palhinha and Bobby Decordova-Reid already this summer, Fulham’s squad is incredibly light at the moment.
The Whites have so much work to do in this window, and perhaps the most important area for improvement is in the heart of the midfield.
Palhinha has left the club, while Sasa Lukic remains inconsistent and Tom Cairney isn’t getting any younger.
Luckily, the transfer window still has a long way to run, and , Fulham have a few midfield options in mind.

Fulham want Scott McTominay
According to Sky Sports, Fulham hold an interest in Manchester United’s Scott McTominay.
It’s claimed that McTominay was the west London club’s first-choice to replace Joao Palhinha if he left the club last summer.
Of course, Palhinha stayed last year, but now that his move to Bayern Munich has gone through, Fulham are back in for McTominay.
Scott McTominay deal won’t be easy
Fulham are said to be keen on McTominay, but getting the Scotland international out of Old Trafford won’t be easy.
As an academy product, McTominay won’t be in any rush to leave the club he has called home for a long time, while United won’t be keen to let him go either.
McTominay popped up with so many important goals last season, and with United lacking depth in the midfield after the departure of Sofyan Amrabat and the continued decline of Casemiro, McTominay is still an important player.
Interestingly, Fulham captain, Tom Cairney, has previously been full of praise for McTominay, describing his goalscoring antics for Scotland as ‘ridiculous’ last season.
Sky also note that Fulham are interested in Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Fluminense’s Andre Trindade, but perhaps the most exciting rumour about Marco Silva’s side at the moment is this potential move for the Manchester United man.
