Four ins and outs that Crystal Palace could complete this week

Although Crystal Palace have been fairly quiet during the opening months of the transfer window, the club’s summer could truly spring to life in the following week.

Here are four possible ins and outs that could occur at Selhurst Park in the next couple days…

Danny Ings from Liverpool

Roy Hodgson has identified Liverpool’s Danny Ings as a top attacking target, according to , and the Reds will be asking for £20 million for the striker.

Palace’s striking problems were well-documented last season, with former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke failing to impress, leaving Wilfried Zaha to provide the majority of the goalscoring.

A move for Ings, who bagged 11 goals for Burnley in 2014/15, could be the answer— providing the 26-year-old stays fit.

Maxime Gonalons from Roma

reported that the French central midfielder has drawn the interest of Crystal Palace, who have lodged an £8.9 million bid for the Roma player.

The 29-year-old could serve as a possible replacement for the outgoing Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Yohan Cabaye. With over 300 appearances for Lyon and experience in the Champions League, Gonalons would offer a commanding presence in the centre of the park for the Eagles.

Danny Drinkwater from Chelsea

Another central midfielder who could complete a switch to Selhurst Park in the coming days is Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater, according to the .

The midfielder played a starring role for Leicester City en route to their Premier League title, yet has struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge and is in search of first team football. The Blues are willing to let the Englishman leave on loan, making Drinkwater a cost-effective and intelligent central midfield option.

Departure: Ryan Inniss

The young defender travelled with Palace’s squad during their pre-season tour of Scandinavia, yet played no part in any of the friendlies or training sessions due to injury, according to .

The centre-back spent last season on loan at Southend United, and should be expected to head out on loan to a lower-league club this summer.
