Four ins and outs that Crystal Palace could complete before Thursday
Crystal Palace have made just two signings during the first 30 days of the January transfer window, but the club’s winter business could truly spring to life in the following days.
Here are four possible ins and outs that could occur at Selhurst Park in the final two days of the transfer window.
In: Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea
In December, reports from claimed Chelsea had offered Michy Batshuayi to their London rivals, with reports that his loan spell at Valencia would be cut short.
Although the connection between the Belgian striker and Crystal Palace cooled recently, Batshuayi’s mooted move to Monaco last week.
With Batshuayi’s future at Chelsea uncertain and few other suitors available, Palace would do well to swoop for the goal-scoring centre-forward.

In: Yannick Bolasie from Everton
Yannick Bolasie recently his loan at Aston Villa short and has returned to his parent club Everton. Yet it seems unlikely the winger can force his way back into Marco Silva’s first team plans, and a loan move away from Goodison Park would be the most prudent decision for Bolasie.
A return to Selhurst Park for the second half of the season would suit both parties, boosting Palace’s wide options while restoring Bolasie’s confidence.
In: Gary Cahill from Chelsea
Another potential switch from Palace’s fellow capital club, Cahill has been rumoured to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge after falling down the pecking order under Maurizio Sarri.
The reported that the Eagles are targeting a loan deal for Cahill, looking to beat out interest from Fulham.
Roy Hodgson, who knows the defender from his time as England manager, must jump at the opportunity to bring the experienced 33-year-old to Selhurst Park.

Out: Scott Dann to Fulham
Although Scott Dann starred in Crystal Palace’s cup win over Tottenham, reports in the have linked him with a move to Fulham in January.
After suffering a long-term injury, Dann is on the outside looking in at Selhurst Park, with Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins forming the preferred centre-back partnership.
A move to Fulham, who are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements to stave off relegation, would be an intriguing prospect for Scott Dann.
