Forward Arsenal keeping tabs on ‘could be sold immediately’
Borussia Dortmund could sell Arsenal target Donyell Malen after signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.
ꦕThat is according to Bild journalist Christian Falk, who has reported Dortmund’s plan regarding Malen.
So, what is being reported about Arsenal-linked Donyell Malen? Let’s take a look.
Arsenal linked with Donyell Malen
ಌWell, Arsenal have been linked with Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen.
ܫArsenal sold Malen to PSV in 2017 for just £500,000 (), but the North London club are keeping tabs on him now.
🌟 reported in December that Arsenal are among the clubs who are showing interest in the 24-year-old, who can play out wide or down as the middle as a centre-forward.
The report noted that Arsenal “appreciate Malen’s talents”. 🎀Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with the Netherlands international. Tottenham Hotspur have been mentioned as well.
Borussia Dortmund could sell Donyell Malen
𒁏Bild journalist Christian Falk has given an update on the situation of Malen.
The journalist has reported that now that they have signed English winger Jadon Sancho🦄 from Manchester United on a loan deal in the January transfer window, Borussia Dortmund could sell the former PSV forward right away.
ℱFalk told : “Sancho’s arrival would put a lot of pressure on Donyell Malen. He could be sold immediately.
🎶“There was an idea of a swap deal with Manchester United for Sancho – they didn’t go for it. But if there is an offer coming from the Premier League for Malen, Dortmund will be open to talks.”
🗹It will be interesting to see what Arsenal do regarding Malen. I do not think that the Gunners particularly need him in January.
ꦡBukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are brilliant wide players. Arsenal do not need another winger.
🗹What the Gunners need is a centre-forward. I do not think that Malen is the answer. After all, the Dutchman has scored five goals in 12 Bundesliga starts this season and scored nine goals in 22 league starts in the last campaign.
