Former West Ham United striker offered January Premier League return with summer exit likely
A potential rekindling was on the cards for one former Premier League striker whose contract will expire in the summer.
Finding an elite-level striker in today’s football market is proving moreꦉ and more difficult.
A forward with a keen eye for goal is hard enough to find but being able to pay the fe😼e t👍heir club would demand is even harder.
A prime example of this is Jhon Duran bei♌ng bought by Al Nassr for £64 million after the 21-year-old had netted on seven occasions in his 20 outings for Aston Vil𒆙la in the Premier League
West Ham thought they had acquired his services in the summer after a Duran took to social media displaying the infamous ‘Irons’ gesture in a bid to depart Aston Villa, but seni🎀or membe🌠rs at the club convinced him to stay.
West Ham then saw a bid for Duran rejected this window, but a much cheaper and familiar alternative was on the cards for the Hammersꦕ following that.

Marko Arnautovic targeted for shock West Ham return
Reports from revealed that Graham Potter had looked to 🍸reunite Marko Arnautovic with the cl🎃ub in a bid to boost his attacking options.
🍃Inter Milan was open to selling both Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa in the January window in an atte✱mpt to reduce their wage bill and make space for potential new signings.
Arnautovic enjoyed a successful spell in English football, the 35-year-old signed for Stoke in 2013 and helped the side have a numbe𓆏r of successful season’s in the top flight.

Arnautovic would go on to average a goal contribution in every other game for the Hammers befor🎶e departing the club nearly two years later to sign for Shanghai Port.
Despite Potter’s interest in Arnautovic, Sky Sports Italia confirmed that the Austrian had rejected the oppor෴tunitဣy to return to the club.

Despite failing to acꦯquire Arnautovic’s services, it was not all 𓂃doom and gloom for the London club.
West Ham signed Evan Ferguson on loan fr🌃om Brighton on t﷽he final day of the transfer window.
The Irish international has been out of favour at the Seagulls and will be relishing the opportunity to get consistent game time. A key factor in Ferguson’s arrival at the club was th𝔉e opportunity to work with Potter once again after the pair enjoyed a spell together at Brighton.
The 21-year-old will have plenty of opportunities to impress his old bos💃s with Danny Ings the only other forward curren💛tly available.
Michail Antonio remains sidelined following his car crash late last year whilst Niclas Fullkrug, Jarrod Bowen 𓆉and Cryscencio Summerville remain unavailable through injury.
