Former West Ham flop Lucas Perez hits screamer against Atletico Madrid
Former West Ham United player Lucas Perez continued his good form for Deportivo Alaves, by scoring a stunning goal on Tuesday evening.
The Spaniard lashed home a brilliant left-footed effort in a league match against Atletico Madrid to help the hosts to a point ().

Perez picked the ball up on the right and wriggled clear of two Atleti players, before cutting inside and unleashing a rasping effort into the top corner from the edge of the box.
It was a superb strike from the 31-year-old, who now has a respectable five goals in 11 appearances for Alaves this season.
Perez was sold by the Hammers early in June after he struggled to make much of an impact for the Londoners in his one and only season.
TBR’s view – Perez unsuited to English football
It would be quite easy to say that West Ham were wrong to sell Perez on the basis of some decent early form at his new club.

He struggled to shine for the Irons, but also had trouble at Arsenal before that.
Perez is clearly a talented player – his goal against Atleti alone is evidence of that. It may just be that he was unsuited to English football.
He was also somewhat unlucky, with both Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellegrini often overlooking him when perhaps he deserved more chances.
