Speaking to TNT Sports, Bale admitted former Arsenal attacker Dennis Bergkamp scored his favourite goal of all time.
The former Wales interna🌼tional admitted Bergkamp’s goal against Newcastle United at St James’ Park was his favourite ever scored.
It is a goal which has gone down in the history books with Lee💦 Dixon saying 🐠Bergkamp was better than Thierry Henry.
Even Liverpool’s Arne Slot praised Bergkamp as his idol when he was growing up as a young footballer.
And it is no real surprise he c🍰aptured the admiration of so many with goals like this against the Magpies back in 2002.

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer hailed Bergkamp as one of the best to ever play in the Premier League, having watched him score that goal against his side.

“I couldn’t understand what people meant by the question. I didn’t see the goal on teleꩵvision for several days, and so many people were asking me what I thought, ‘OK, I have to see what they saw’,” he said.
“I w𝕴atched it back, and then I could understand w🌠hat they meant.”
