Former Manchester United player admits his behaviour could be ‘absolutely disgraceful’ between games
A former Manchester United player has now admitted that his behaviour could be less than desirable between the club’s games in the past.
And whilst it’s important that players conduct themselves well off the field, Erik ten Hag will probably be more concerned with what’s happening on it right now at least.

Fortunately, via a superb Bruno Fernandes display last night, United were able to pick up three deserved points against Sheffield United.
The home side dominated the game but still managed to concede two goals, even if they were up to the task of then overcoming them.
And as well as the United captain, Harry Maguire was strong at the back, yet again proving his immense mentality given all that he’s been subjected to this season.
Maguire has conducted himself so well in a difficult context, and deserves all the praise for his performance.
That being said, former Man United star Roy Keane has just made an admission about how he used to behave between games in the past.
Roy Keane admits his behaviour between Manchester United games was really not good
Roy Keane was speaking on the ‘’ podcast alongside Gary Neville and said some of the stuff he did was ‘absolutely disgraceful’.
Neville then shared his theory as to why Keane got away with it, something that wouldn’t be possible in today’s game.
Keane initially said: “You look back and people say I was a good pro but some of the stuff I did was absolutely disgraceful.

“If I had no midweek game, you played Saturday to Saturday, I’d definitely go out Saturday and Sunday.
“Many times I’d go out Saturday after a game and go out Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then you get ready for Wednesday and think I better be ready for Saturday.”
Neville replied: “Do you know the reason you got away with that, Roy?
“It’s because a lot of the players in the other team were doing the same. I always look at that pre 95 period and all players were doing the same thing.
“If players were drinking 10 pints, as long as we were all drinking 10 pints, we were all at the same fitness level.”
Of course, as we know there is now so much more attention to what players do off of the field, as well as on it.
Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has perhaps experienced that more than anyone of late, criticised for earlier this year.
Judging by Keane’s words, that would have been perfectly acceptable in his era, but was met with criticism today.
All that being said, and with a focus back to on-the-field matters, it seems as if Manchester United could sell up to nine players this summer.
