‘For certain’: Jamie Carragher makes claim about Tottenham and Arsenal after Tuchel is sacked
Jamie Carragher has claimed that fans of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal will feel that their chances of finishing in the Premier League’s top four will have been enhanced by Chelsea’s sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
The Sky Sports pundit commented on the Spurs and Gunners fanbases – as well as those of Liverpool and Manchester United – in .
Chelsea sacked Tuchel on Wednesday morning, a day after the 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and just six matches into the new Premier League season.

The Blues would’ve been expected to compete with Tottenham, Arsenal and the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United for a spot in the top four.
At present, Chelsea are sixth in the table, with three wins, a draw and two losses to their name. And then there was the loss to Dinamo Zagreb.
Carragher, writing in The Telegraph, gave his verdict on Chelsea’s decision to sack Tuchel, and their reported pursuit of Brighton’s Graham Potter.
He suggested that they should look at Mauricio Pochettino, who managed Spurs between 2014 and 2019, and currently a free agent.
Carragher then suggested that the current situation at Stamford Bridge could please Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Man United fans regarding their hopes of a top-four finish.
“What is for certain is that with Tuchel gone, fans of Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham will feel their top four chances have been significantly enhanced,” wrote Carragher.
