‘Flourishing’: Merson says Tottenham star who was poor under Nuno has now ‘really stepped up’ under Conte

Paul Merson has heaped praise on Tottenham Hotsp🐼ur star Harry Kane for his form since Antonio Conte wa♒s appointed as the new manager.
Spurs have been really inconsistent over the last few weeks and their results show that. However, the one thing that has been consistent is the goal output from Kane ever since that tremendous victওory over Manchester City last month.
The Englishman, after his transfer saga in the summer, had a difficult start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo. He scored just one league goal in nine appearances under the Portuguese tactician🌊, which is so unlike him.
However, Kane’s form since Conte’s arrival has been incredible. He has scored 15 goals under the Italian, includingꦇ seven in his last six league games, which is a phenomenal return.

Paul Merson: Harry Kane has really stepped up under Antonio Conte
In his column on , Merson wrote: “Harry Kane is back in red-hot form and has really stepped up🐬 and delivered under Antonio Conte, but was there ever any doubt about the Englishman’s ability?
When Conte came in, a lot of people♎ referred to him as a defensive coach with a rather negative brand of football. However, what’s important is that Conte’s centre forwards always score goals.
“Be it Diego Costa at Chelsea or Romelu Lukaku at Inter Milan, tha🍎t has always been the case, and it has seemingly continued at Tottenhꦕam with Kane.”
“The cream always rises to the top, so I don’t find it surprising that Kane’s found his s𝓀hooting boots at the business end of the season. He’s a top player andꦺ is flourishing under a fantastic coach.”

TBR View:
Kane really is flourishing under Coꦅnte and the s༺cary thing for all of Tottenham’s opponents is that he can get even better.
The Englishman showed under Jose Mourinho that he can be a tremendous creator. He has improved on that front as well under Conte this season and although he doesn’t qꦑuite have the assists to show for it, he has become a more complete player than ever now.
Kane has now managed 22 goals in all competitions this season. With 10 games still left to be played, it won’t be a surprise to see him hit that 30-goal mark, and that could well bring Manchester City back into the frame to sign him this summer𒁃.
