Five players to watch in Group C feat. Bayern Munich and Southampton stars
With Euro 2016 rapidly approaching, TBR looks ahead to try and identify some of the players to watch in each group. Here we cover Group C, which contains World Champions Germany, Ukraine, Poland and the giant killing Northern Ireland in what looks to be one of the most competitive groups in the competition.
Over the next few pages are the five players that you should be watching out for in the Group. If there are others who you feel deserve a mention, let us know in the comments section below.
Andriy Yarmolenko (Ukraine)
The Ukraine were one of two host countries for the last European Championships in 2012, and for 2016 they may well feel confident of at the very least progressing from their group and causing a few upsets.
One of their star men will undoubtedly be Andriy Yarmolenko who is one of the country’s most deadly goal threats.
Playing his club football for Dynamo Kiev, Yarmolenko scored 13 goals last season and has already netted twice in three games for his country, which is very fine form indeed.
The winger is also sought after from clubs around Europe meaning he may be keen to put himself in the shop window with some fine performances in France this summer.
